The Copeland Trophy dinner is Collingwood’s biggest night on the calendar and this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before held in the Crown Palladium in Melbourne on Friday 7 October.

It is the club’s first priority to make the event available to as many Collingwood members as possible.

The dinner will be held at one of Melbourne biggest venues, the Crown Palladium for 1750 people.  

In addition to the main dinner, this year’s Copeland Trophy will be telecast live to a series of additional Collingwood member events at selected venues, and the club is encouraging members to attend these events.

The Copeland Trophy will also be telecast live via the Collingwood website.

Copeland Trophy FAQ'S

I am a Club 5 member can I bring a guest?
No. Club 5 members are only entitled to one ticket per member and may purchase tickets on behalf of other Club 5 members. Please quote all Club 5 member numbers at the time of booking.

Additional tickets purchased during the Club 5 sale period can only be for Club 5 members and cannot be purchased for relatives or non Club 5 members.

As a Club 5 member can I sit with a Legends Member who purchases a ticket?
Yes. In order for a Legends member to be seated with a Club 5 member(s) the Legends member will be asked to quote the Club 5 membership number at the time of booking.

As a Club 5 member, if I do not book by the end of the Club 5 member’s sale period am I still guaranteed my ticket?
In order to be guaranteed a ticket a Club 5 member MUST book prior to 5pm 9th August. After this time Club 5 members can purchase during the Legends member onsale period however tickets are not guaranteed at this point.

As a Legends member am I guaranteed a ticket?
Legends member tickets will go on sale from 5.30pm on the Wednesday 10th August, 2011. Due to the extremely high demand for tickets we are unable to guarantee a ticket to all Legends members.

The Collingwood Football Club will offer a live telecast vie the Collingwood website to all members ensuring everyone can view the big night.

In response to the high demand for tickets and member feedback, this year’s Copeland Trophy will be telecast live to a series of additional Collingwood member events at selected venues, and the club is encouraging members to attend these events.

As a Legends member can I bring additional members?
Due to the high demand, tickets for the Copeland Trophy will only be on sale to Legends members.

Legends members are entitled to one ticket per member and may purchase tickets on behalf of other Legends members (up to 12 per booking.)

Please quote all Legends member numbers at the time of booking.

Please note that full payment is required at the time of booking.

As a long standing member am I guaranteed a ticket?
Due to the high demand, tickets for the Copeland Trophy will only be on sale to Legends members.

We are unable to guarantee a ticket to all members.

As a Captains or Social Club Member I have attended the dinner in previous years. Will I be able to attend this year?
Due to the high demand, tickets for the Copeland Trophy will only be on sale to Legends members.

We are unable to guarantee a ticket to all members.

If I cannot secure a ticket to the Copeland Trophy what are my other options?
The Collingwood Football Club will again offer a live feed online to all members ensuring no one misses out on the big night.

River Room Function at Crown
A special event will be held for members in the River Room at Crown directly adjacent to the Crown Palladium where the main Copeland Trophy dinner is held.

The River Room function includes a gourmet three course meal with premium beer & wine and soft drink.

Collingwood President Eddie McGuire and Collingwood Captain Nick Maxwell will welcome guests and the 2011 Copeland Trophy Dinner will be telecast live.

Cost: $145 per person.

Westpac Centre Function
A special event will be held for members at the Westpac Centre. The Westpac Centre function will include a gourmet three course meal and drinks at bar prices. The room will be hosted by an MC with interviews with past players and a live telecast of the 2011 Copeland Trophy Dinner.

Cost: $85.

If I miss out on tickets can I be added to a waiting list?
The club will not be offering a waiting list in 2011.

If I am unable to call 1300 MAGPIE once tickets are released, how can I secure tickets?

If you are unable to call 1300 MAGPIE at the time of sale we suggest you arrange for a friend or family member to call on your behalf. Please ensure they have your membership number, barcode number, and relevant contact details.

How much do the tickets Cost?
Tickets for Crown Palladium Dinner are $225 per person

Tickets for River Room Crown are $145 per person

Tickets for Westpac Centre are $85 per person (drinks at bar prices.)
 
Can I purchase tickets in person at the Westpac Centre?
The only way to purchase tickets is by calling 1300 MAGPIE.
