Enjoying a history that extends beyond 125 years, Hawthorn Football Club is a proud, successful and progressive member of the Australian Football League and is well placed for future success. ;Reporting directly to the General Manager – Marketing, Communication and Digital Media, the successful candidate will be responsible for a dynamic range of activities including:

  • Development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the Club across traditional and digital platforms
  • Brand management –  ensuring the Club’s style guide and standards are up-held
  • Managing all graphic design elements for the Club
  • Market research – investigate current and emerging markets and assist in formulating strategic plans based on data
  • Management of staff and agencies
  • Provide reporting as required on results of marketing campaigns, results of market research and marketing budgets and plans.
  • Establish and up-hold positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for a professional who is energetic, strategic and focused on results with a minimum of two years’ experience in marketing and management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and deliver marketing campaigns across various departments as well as proven experience of working in a flexible and fast paced environment. To excel in the role you will possess a flair for design and the talent to innovate and develop concepts to promote the Club’s brand.

The remuneration package will be determined based on experience and a unique range of benefits will be offered to the successful candidate. Some weekend work will be required.
