FANS will have more than one reason to enjoy the footy at Saturday's double-header at Adelaide Oval this weekend, with live performances and prizes to be won across both games.

After watching all the late afternoon action between Fremantle and Carlton in the first game, those in the stands will be treated to a performance from Australian electronic music duo The Presets ahead of the match-up between the Western Bulldogs and Geelong Cats that evening.

Fans inside the stadium for both matches will have the chance to win great prizes from Official AFL Partners for just being in their seats. At quarter-time and three-quarter time during the Fremantle and Carlton game, groups of five fans will have a chance to win upgraded seats to the Pepsi Collective for the second match.

For those fans there for the Bulldogs and Geelong game, there will be giveaways from Virgin Australia and ALL.com Hotels, including two flights across the Virgin Australia domestic network given away at quarter-time and then at three-quarter time, two lucky fans will win tickets to the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final and two-night stay at an All.com Hotel.

For supporters with reserved seats who are attending the first match between Fremantle and Carlton and cannot stay on for the second game that evening, they will be able to return their tickets at the South Plaza Box Office for re-sale to fans who have missed out on the sold-out match to purchase.

Each returned reserved seat ticket will be sold for a $10 flat fee with all proceeds going to the Charity Partner of Gather Round, the Women's and Children's Hospital. Returned reserved seat tickets are not eligible for a full or partial refunds by patrons exiting the double header after the first match.

Returned tickets can only be purchased in-person at the South Plaza Box Office and the quantities and location of seats are dependent on those returned by exiting fans.

AFL Chief Executive Andrew Dillon said Saturday's double header was set to be a huge event in the Gather Round fixture.

"We are encouraging all fans with tickets to the double-header on Saturday to get to the Adelaide Oval early, take in the first game, enjoy the entertainment and stay on for the second match where there’s great prizes to be won," said Mr Dillon.

"If for any reason fans cannot stay after the first match, we have implemented an opportunity to hand back those tickets for fans who have missed out on the sold-out game, who can then re-purchase those tickets for $10 with all sales going to the Women and Children's Hospital."

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas said: "We know tickets to the double header at Adelaide Oval are hot property, and we expect many fans will stay for the full spectacle.

"But for those who choose to depart early, this is a great initiative to ensure other fans can have an opportunity to attend, while supporting a good cause in the process."

For all other matches during Gather Round, if ticket holders can no longer attend, they can transfer their ticket to family/friends via the Ticketek app or alternatively, return their ticket and receive a refund.

Fans can return some or all the tickets in their order by simply tapping 'Return' on their mobile ticket in the Ticketek app. Returns will be accepted up until 9am (venue local time) on the day of the game. More information on how to return tickets is available via this link.
