Smithy's VFL State Team chairman of selectors Nigel Carmody joins Joe Pignataro for a special edition of State of Play from Adelaide.

We are just hours away from the return of representative footy, with the Smithy's VFL State Team taking on the SANFL in the 2024 AAMI State Game at Glenelg's Stratarama Stadium.

Nigel Carmody is our well-known VFL commentator on the Seven Network and also the chairman of selectors for the Big V.
