It was a fantastic welcome to Perth for the Sydney Swans as they trained in front of over 200 supporters on Thursday afternoon.

The team arrived in the west on Wednesday evening and trained at Leederville Oval in preparation for their Saturday night game against Fremantle.

After watching the main training session of the week, the loyal supporters in their red and white were eager to meet their favourite players.

All of the players took time out after training to meet the fans, sign some autographs and pose for photos.

Both the Swans and the Dockers are involved with Redkite, a charity that supports children, young people and their families through cancer by providing emotional support, financial assistance and educational services. This weekend's match will see the two teams battle it out for the Redkite Cup. The Swans currently hold the Cup after winning the inaugural match last season.
