Northern Territory v Woomeras

Northern Territory enjoyed an easy 47-point win over the Woomeras on the last day of the carnival.

The Woomeras started well but the Thunder got on top after a solid second quarter, booting four goals and keeping the Woomeras scoreless.

Captain Tayla Thorn and midfielder Kiara White were excellent for the winners.

Vic Country v Queensland

Vic Country finished the carnival on a high, beating Queensland by eight points in the pool A consolation final.

In a fast-paced affair, Vic Country built an early advantage mainly through its defensive pressure. Queensland battled back in the second term, inspired by the work of Shaleise Law and Kalinda Howarth.

But the more experienced Vic Country composed itself, the efforts of Lily Mithen, Isabella Ayre and captain Georgia Walker the difference.

Game 3
South Australia v NSW/ACT

A five-goal haul from key forward Jordyn Joliffe powered NSW/ACT to an impressive 65-point triumph over South Australia. NSW/ACT was undefeated during the carnival and captured the pool B title.

Kate Stanton chipped in with three goals for the winners, while midfielder Alyce Parker was also impressive.

South Australian skipper Ashleigh Woodland led the resistance, with defenders Katelyn Rosenzweig and Tamika Nash-Hahn also trying hard under immense pressure.
