A rare opportunity has emerged for a highly energetic full-time Merchandise Operations Supervisor to join this South Australian sporting icon and work within a challenging and exciting AFL environment.
Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Assist all customers/staff at the Power Megastore, match day venues and various Port Adelaide functions
- Assist in the growth and development of the Merchandise department at the Port Adelaide Football Club
- Maintain merchandise standards to maximize sales
- Assist the Merchandise Manager with all retail operations including staff supervision and management, marketing, delivery of merchandise strategy and inventory management
- Demonstrated experience and success in retail sales
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Able to work under pressure and have a high attention to detail
- Previous AFL Industry experience preferred but not essential
- Able to work outside regular office hours, specifically weekends and some public holidays. (Availability to work all game days is a pre-requisite).
