WEST Coast has lost veteran forward Mark LeCras for Saturday night's must-win clash against Carlton due to a leg injury, with defender Sharrod Wellingham coming into the final 22.
LeCras has battled a sore hip at times this season and came under scrutiny following a four-game goal drought between rounds eight to 13.
But the soon-to-be 31-year-old has found some better form in recent matches, booting five goals and picking up 35 touches against the Lions and Saints in the past two weeks.
Interestingly, the Eagles overlooked small forward Josh Hill, who was also an emergency and held out of East Perth's WAFL clash on Saturday afternoon, in favour of Wellingham.
It will be Wellingham's first game since round 16 after an inconsistent campaign.
The Eagles are in ninth spot on the ladder but can climb to seventh with victory over the Blues.
Carlton will go in unchanged.
