The AFL wishes to advise the Match Review of last night’s Round 11 match between the Sydney Swans and Carlton at the SCG has been completed. Two charges have been laid and there were no other matters that required further detailed explanation.

Callum Sinclair, Sydney Swans, has been charged with staging during the third quarter of the Round 11 match between the Sydney Swans and Carlton, played at the SCG on Friday June 1, 2018. 

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea. 

A first offence for staging is a $1500 sanction. The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Sam Rowe, Carlton, has been charged with misconduct against Lance Franklin, Sydney Swans, during the fourth quarter of the Round 11 match between Carlton and the Sydney Swans, played at the SCG on Friday June 1, 2018.

In summary, he can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence and a medical report from the Sydney Swans Football Club, the incident was classified as misconduct. A first offence for misconduct draws a $2500 sanction at the discretion of the Match Review Officer. The player can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.
