COLLINGWOOD defender Tyson Goldsack will need to pass concussion test before being declared available for selection after breaking his nose against Hawthorn.

Goldsack sat out the last quarter against the Hawks in just his second game back after missing two games due to a fractured scapula.

The Magpies have not ruled out young forward Darcy Moore either after the scans on his injured hamstring returned better than expected results.

Moore finished the game against the Hawks on the bench after experiencing hamstring tightness late.

Collingwood football manager Geoff Walsh told collingwoodfc.com.au the 21-year-old would be tested later in the week with Magpies coach Nathan Buckley saying earlier Moore would need to get through the club's main training session on Thursday.

Daniel Wells was doing run-throughs on Tuesday at the Holden Centre as he ramps up his running ahead of training with the main group on Thursday.

Wells, who suffered a calf injury in round 11 against Fremantle, is listed as 2-3 weeks away on the club's injury list.
