TAYLOR Adams and Alex Fasolo are likely inclusions to the Collingwood team that will face Greater Western Sydney on Saturday afternoon at Spotless Stadium.
Both were injured in the round 10 loss to the Western Bulldogs. Adams hurt his left hamstring while Fasolo fractured his scapula.
They completed the full training session on Thursday and coach Nathan Buckley said it would be difficult to leave the pair out of the side.
"They’ve proven their fitness and it's going to be hard not to select them, given that they're pretty important players for us," Buckley said at the Holden Centre.
"We've got some decisions to make, some conundrums at the selection table."
Adams was prominent through the midfield in the match simulation that took place. Fasolo was similarly lively in attack and the 24-year-old will be a welcome addition to the fifth-lowest scoring team in the competition.
American tall forward Mason Cox's spot is in jeopardy after Buckley admitted Cox was coming off a poor performance in the 12-point win versus Carlton last Saturday night.
"He had a quiet game last week, but for the most part he's taken every step pretty well," Buckley said.
"Part of development into AFL footy is to understand the relentless nature of it, so he's facing that at the moment."
Cox registered just two disposals and eight hit-outs in that game, and did not hit the scoreboard.
"Jesse (White) went back and handled his demotion for that week really well, and his form over a two-month period has been really strong. He'll put his hand up again," Buckley said.
White finished with 23 disposals, 12 marks and two goals in the 13-point victory against the Northern Blues last week.
The 28-year-old strung seven consecutive matches together before his omission.
GWS has never beaten the Pies from four attempts but the Giants enter the clash as red-hot favourites.
Leon Cameron's men sit in third place, and if results go their way, could conceivably be first by the end of the round.
"They are a real challenge, and one we're looking forward to," Buckley said.
"We feel like we're starting to display a little bit more consistency in the way that we play.
"GWS is the best team we've played for a little while, so it will be a good challenge for us."
