THE NATHAN Buckley-coached Vic Country has scored its third consecutive win of the 2009 NAB AFL Under 16 Championships after defeating South Australia on Friday at Blacktown Olympic Park, Western Sydney.

Vic Country will now meet South Australia again in the final, at the MCG on grand final day, Saturday September 26.

In Friday’s other match, Vic Metro scored a 15 point victory over Western Australia.

Vic Metro’s Alex Greenwood and Western Australia’s Tom Mitchell, the son of former Sydney, Collingwood and Carlton player Barry Mitchell, were named the most valuable players for their respective states.
