BACKS
Jarrod Harbrow (Western Bulldogs)
– Chalked up a career-best 31 disposals against the Brisbane Lions. His foot skills and rebound were a highlight.

Brian Lake (Western Bulldogs) – Was locked in a fascinating duel with powerhouse Jonathan Brown. Early on the Lions skipper threatened and although he finished with three goals, Lake soon had the edge and took the honours overall.

Scott Stevens (Adelaide) – Continued his strong recent form with 21 disposals and an equal game-high five rebounds against Hawthorn. Although he remains underrated outside of the Crows, he remains an important cog.

HALF BACKS
Andrew Mackie (Geelong)
– Produced one of his best matches for the season against the Sydney Swans. Mackie's run out of defence and into attack was highlighted with his three rebounds and seven inside 50s.

Tayte Pears (Essendon) – The 19-year-old produced a fine effort on St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt, keeping him to two goals and 16 touches.

Michael Doughty (Adelaide) – Was again among the game's best on Friday night with 24 disposals and five rebounds.

CENTRES
Aaron Davey (Melbourne)
– Set the 'G alight with a best-on-ground display against Fremantle. Some of his run-and-carry and foot skills were exquisite. Davey won 31 disposals, kicked two goals and had a game-high nine inside 50s.

Jobe Watson (Essendon) – Had 37 disposals (including 15 contested possessions) in a best-on-ground performance against St Kilda. He also laid eight tackles, had six inside 50s and six clearances.

Andrew McLeod (Adelaide) – Instrumental in sparking the second quarter revival, McLeod was at his dynamic best, winning 23 of his 26 touches after quarter-time. He also had a game-high six inside 50s.

HALF-FORWARDS
Marc Murphy (Carlton)
– Finished with 33 disposals and three goals to rival teammate Brendan Fevola for best-on-ground honours.

Travis Cloke (Collingwood) – Played one of his best matches for the season, notching up 21 disposals, taking 10 marks (including three contested) and kicking two goals from five scoring shots. The big man also had six inside 50s and laid six tackles.

Angus Monfries (Essendon) – Produced his best match this season, racking up 20 touches and kicking four goals – all in a stunning second term. His efforts helped the Dons to a 33-point buffer at half-time and ultimately to victory.

FORWARDS
Liam Jurrah (Melbourne)
– Returned from an ankle injury and provided plenty of excitement with four goals. His ability to snap a major over his head while sitting on the ground was freakish.

Brendan Fevola (Carlton) – Bounced back in front of Brown in the race for the Coleman Medal after jagging six goals against Port Adelaide. His marking was outstanding, with six of his eight grabs contested.

Trent Hentschel (Adelaide) – After just two matches this season (in rounds one and two) due to ongoing knee problems, Hentschel returned with excellent results. He booted four goals – his best effort since his severe knee injury sustained in round 21, 2006.

FOLLOWERS
Mitch Clark (Brisbane Lions)
– Finished with 22 disposals and 24 hit outs to further enhance his All-Australian prospects.

Dane Swan (Collingwood) – The fact he didn't gain a touch in the first 16 minutes of the match speaks volumes of his impact and season. But from that point, he didn't look back, playing another beauty with 34 disposals, six inside 50s and two goals.

Gary Ablett (Geelong) – Produced one of his finest matches of the season, amassing 44 disposals (including 15 contested possessions).

INTERCHANGE
Adam Selwood (West Coast)
– The standout performer against North Melbourne, Selwood claimed 33 disposals (including 14 in the second quarter) and had a game-high eight inside 50s.

Bernie Vince (Adelaide) – Was his side's leading ball-winner with 33 touches. He also took nine marks and had six clearances.

Bryce Gibbs (Carlton) – Claimed 32 touches and two goals to be one of Carlton's most influential this round.

Jimmy Bartel (Geelong) – Claimed 32 disposals (including 12 contested possessions) to be among Geelong's best. He also had six clearances and laid four tackles.
