THREE-TIME Geelong premiership player Cameron Ling has joined the AFL All Australian selection panel.

The 246-game midfielder, who captained the Cats to the 2011 flag and played in the 2007 and 2009 triumphs, replaces Gerard Healy.

New AFL football operations general manager Mark Evans has also joined the panel, replacing his predecessor Adrian Anderson.

Himself an All Australian in 2007, Ling retired at the end of 2011 and now covers the game on TV and radio.

The other members of the selection panel are AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Danny Frawley, Glen Jakovich and Mark Ricciuto.

As well as the All Australian team, the panel, along with national development manager Kevin Sheehan, also votes on the NAB AFL Rising Star.
