ADELAIDE
Brad Crouch (hamstring) - available
Sam Shaw (hamstring) - 4 weeks
Lewis Johnston (knee) - 6-8 weeks
Taylor Walker (knee) - season

The Doc says: The Crows didn't sustain any new injuries this week. Walker had the uncommon allograft/hamstring reconstruction last week and will miss the season. The loss of Lewis Johnston (knee fracture sustained in the SANFL) for six to eight weeks compounds the Crows' forward woes.

BRISBANE LIONS
Callum Bartlett (cheekbone) - 2 weeks
Claye Beams (ACL) - season
Matt Maguire (leg) - test
Stefan Martin (ankle) - 6 weeks
Jesse O'Brien (adductor) - test
Jared Polec (ankle) - 5 weeks
Daniel Rich (shoulder) - 5 weeks
Patrick Wearden (jaw) - 8-10 weeks
Stephen Wrigley (knee) - season

The Doc says: Maguire has now missed seven weeks with a calf injury after the Lions hoped he would miss just two initially while both Rich and Martin are five weeks away. The Lions reported no fresh injuries from the weekend just gone.

CARLTON
Andrew Carrazzo (corked calf) - test
David Ellard (lower leg) – TBC
Bryce Gibbs (hamstring) - test
Nick Graham (knee) - 5 weeks
Michael Jamison (shoulder) - test
Andrew McInnes (knee) - 5 weeks
Rhys O'Keeffe (foot) - indefinite
Chris Yarran (hamstring) - test

The Doc says: Ellard sustained a significant injury at the top of his Achilles tendon in the middle of his calf in Monday night's game. Even if scans rule out a tendon injury, he will have a high-grade muscle injury and is likely to miss an extended period of time. Yarran was out early in the match with soreness in his right hamstring after a similar occurrence in round six. He will undergo scans but is unlikely to be risked by Carlton for the next two to three weeks if any damage is revealed. Carrazzo still has some swelling in his calf and wasn't risked on Monday night. He'll have further scans to monitor his progress and could be an outside chance to play this week. Jamison has recurring right shoulder laxity and will be monitored at training but is likely to play. Gibbs is going to train this week after missing two matches and islikely to undergo full fitness testing in the hope of returning this weekend.

COLLINGWOOD
Martin Clarke (corked thigh) - available
Caolan Mooney (knee) - available
Kyle Martin (leg) - test
Adam Oxley (hip) - test
Tim Broomhead (glandular fever) - test
Lachlan Keeffe (knee) - 1-2 weeks
Dayne Beams (quad) - 2 weeks
Michael Hartley (shoulder) - 2 weeks
Brodie Grundy (back) - 2-3 weeks
Clinton Young (hamstring) - 2-4 weeks
Jack Frost (knee) - 5-6 weeks
Jackson Ramsay (wrist) - 6-7 weeks
Alan Toovey (knee) – season
Tyson Goldsack (hip) – one week
Alex Fasolo (right foot) – season
Dale Thomas (ankle) – two weeks

The Doc says: Fasolo will have navicular bone graft surgery after breaking down this week and miss the remainder of the 2013 season. Goldsack has on-going right hip concerns and is making slow progress. The club expects him to miss one to two more weeks. Thomas has had reoccurrence of his right ankle injury and the club is optimistic he will recover within two weeks when he will be reassessed. Clarke and Mooney will both be rigorously tested with Clarke more likely to get through. Beams is edging closer but is unlikely to be risked until he completes a solid week of training while Young is one to two weeks away. Maxwell surprised by playing against Fremantle – and surprised himself.

ESSENDON
Brent Stanton (groin) - test
Courtenay Dempsey (ankle) - test
Alwyn Davey (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks

The Doc says: Davey injured his left hamstring on Friday night and scans have shown a low-level injury. He's still likely to miss two to three matches at this stage. Stanton missed the game with on-going soreness in his adductor but I'm expecting him to pass a fitness test and play this week. Dempsey is similar with on-going soreness in his Achilles – he was rested from the round just gone but he's also expected to get through a fitness test this week.

FREMANTLE
Kepler Bradley (knee) - season
Max Duffy (hamstring) - 1 week
Jonathon Griffin (knee) - season
Stephen Hill (quad) - 2 weeks
Sam Menegola (knee) - 13 weeks
Craig Moller (quad) - 1 week
Anthony Morabito (knee) - 4 weeks
Lachie Neale (ankle) - 4-6 weeks
Matthew Pavlich (Achilles) - 2 weeks
Aaron Sandilands (hamstring) - 5-6 weeks

The Doc says: Jon Griffin is yet another victim of an ACL rupture. They'll be making a decision on the type of reconstruction he'll have but it will most likely be the normal hamstring graft and he'll miss the full 12 months. Hill has on-going quad concerns and as there is a high risk of that recurring at training, they're going to be really conservative with him because he's had trouble with those injuries before. Pavlich is progressing but still two weeks away.

GEELONG
Paul Chapman (hamstring) - test
Josh Cowan (Achilles) - 2 weeks
Tom Hawkins (back) - test
Taylor Hunt (broken collarbone) - 6 weeks
Lincoln McCarthy (foot) - indefinite
Hamish McIntosh (knee, Achilles) - 2 weeks
Daniel Menzel (knee) - season
Jared Rivers (knee) - 2-4 weeks
Travis Varcoe (shoulder) - 8-10 weeks
Josh Walker (shoulder) - test

The Doc says: Taylor Hunt broke his right collarbone and had surgery on the weekend in an attempt to get him back faster but in all likelihood, it will still be six weeks that he'll miss – sometimes it can extend out to eight. Corey has chronic knee concerns and had last week off but he's likely to train and be available for selection later in the week. Chapman didn't play after on-going concerns with his right hamstring and continues to make slower than expected progress, leaving him doubtful for this week. The Cats persist with playing Hawkins even though he is less than 100 per cent but they're confident his back injury won't be aggravated.

GOLD COAST
Nathan Bock (Ieg) - indefinite
Charlie Dixon (ankle) - test
Karmichael Hunt (hamstring) - test
Steven May (hamstring) - test
Seb Tape (knee) - test
Matthew Warnock (arm) - 8 weeks
Mav Weller (shoulder) - 3 weeks
Joel Wilkinson (ankle) - 5 weeks

The Doc says: Dixon will have to get through a fitness test while Hunt missed with hamstring soreness and remains in doubt for this week. Bock has been training well in recent weeks but still remains indefinite with respect to returning to match  practice.

GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY
Chad Cornes (knee) - indefinite
Phil Davis (back) - 5 Weeks
Kristian Jaksch (knee) - 3 weeks
Jono O'Rourke (jaw) - 3 weeks
Jonathon Patton (knee) - season
Andrew Phillips (hamstring) - test
Sam Schulz (virus) - test
Dom Tyson (knee) - 2 weeks

The Doc says: The Giants are light on for major injuries with the exception of Patton with his ACL. O'hAilpin remains doubtful this week following his calf strain. Cornes is a week-to-week prospect and will need to impress at training because of the time he's missed.

HAWTHORN
Xavier Ellis (calf) - 1 week
Brent Guerra (knee) - test
Cyril Rioli (hamstring) - TBC
Ryan Schoenmakers (knee) - season
Matthew Suckling (knee) - season
Brendan Whitecross (knee) - 3 weeks
Alex Woodward (knee) - season

The Doc says: Guerra didn't play on the weekend after his right knee hyperextension. He remains sore and is likely to be restricted again at training this week. The Hawks have quite a few long-term injuries and Rioli and Whitecross won't return  before mid-season.

MELBOURNE
Mitch Clark (foot) - 5-7 weeks
Jack Grimes (shoulder) - 6-8 weeks
Mark Jamar (groin) - test
Tom McDonald (shoulder) - 1-2 weeks
Nathan Stark (groin) - 2 weeks
Jack Trengove (calf) - test
Jack Watts (hamstring) - test

The Doc says: Of the three players listed as needing fitness tests, Jamar and Watts are the most likely to get through. Because of the calf injury to Trengove, he's likely to need another one to two weeks. McDonald was a late withdrawal on Sunday and is likely to miss another two weeks.

NORTH MELBOURNE
Taylor Garner (ankle) - test
Eric Wallace (knee) - test
Andrew Swallow (knee) - test
Aaron Mullett (ankle) - test
Robbie Tarrant (leg) - 2 weeks
Daniel Currie (thumb) - 5 weeks
Tom Curran (foot) - season

The Doc says: It's been reported by North that Swallow's right knee has no major ligament damage but he'll still be sore with inflammation and will certainly be in doubt to play this week, given the short turnaround and the fact the Roos have to fly to Perth. Tarrant has missed four games and continues to be restricted with leg soreness, which is likely to see him miss two more weeks.

PORT ADELAIDE
Dom Cassisi (hamstring) - test
Brett Ebert (adductor) - 4 weeks
Jasper Pittard (hip flexor) - test
Jackson Trengove (foot) - 8 weeks

The Doc says: With Pittard, most hip flexors are three-to-four week injuries because it's a sprinting/kicking muscle. He last played in round four and continues to struggle within the time frame of expectation. Cassisi was a late withdrawal from the Richmond game and hamstrings are generally a concern - he would be most unlikely to be put to full testing this week.

RICHMOND
Reece Conca (foot) - 2-3 weeks
Trent Cotchin (knee) - test
Dylan Grimes (foot) - test
Chris Knights (knee) - season
Ivan Maric (ankle) - test
Brett O'Hanlon (ankle) - 2-3 weeks
Ricky Petterd (calf) - test
Shane Tuck (fractured scapula) - 6-8 weeks

The Doc says: Knights dislocated his patella but also ruptured the patella tendon, which is an unusual injury and similar to an Achilles tendon rupture. He's had patella tendon repair surgery and will miss the rest of the season. His recovery is expected to be six to nine months. Tuck had a break to his shoulder blade – his scapula – and is likely to miss six to eight weeks. Cotchin missed last week with ongoing right knee soreness and should be right to play after a week off.

ST KILDA
Sam Gilbert (knee) - 8-12 weeks
Lenny Hayes (calf) - 1-3 weeks
Beau Maister (wrist) - test
Daniel Markworth (ACL) - season
Darren Minchington (hamstring) - 2-3 weeks
Adam Schneider (hamstring) - 1-2 weeks
Tom Simpkin (quad) - 1-2 weeks
Nathan Wright (head) - TBC

The Doc says: Wright had concussion following a head injury and subsequent scans have confirmed a fracture to his jaw. These quite commonly require four-to-six weeks for full recovery but it does depend on which part of his jaw is affected and  the Saints have predicted Wright will only miss one to two. Hayes continues to be monitored following his calf injury to avoid a recurrence but won't be pushed. Maister will be training this week and will wear protective strapping on his wrist but won't be risked yet. Schneider has been pushed out to at least three more. Simpkin will be nursed to avoid a quad re-injury in the next two weeks.

SYDNEY SWANS
Harry Cunningham (knee) - 1-2 weeks
Alex Johnson (knee) - season
Shane Mumford (groin) - test
Sam Naismith (knee) - indefinite
Lewis Roberts-Thomson (knee) - 4-6 weeks
Gary Rohan (leg) - indefinite
Rhyce Shaw (abdomen) - 1-2 weeks

The Doc says: Mumford continued to have groin/adductor soreness and was not risked on the weekend. He would have to complete intensive training before being considered this week. Shaw is slowly recovering but is limited in his sprinting and kicking power and LRT will be slow due to his limited ability to run at training. Rohan continues to make slow but positive progress but remains indefinite in respect to return to match play.

WEST COAST
Sam Butler (calf) - test
Andrew Embley (foot) - test
Daniel Kerr (knee) - test
Chris Masten (ill) - test
Murray Newman (knee) - 2 weeks
Mark Nicoski (hamstring) - test
Beau Waters (adductor) - test

The Doc says: They have a large group of players who are returning to full training this week and will be tested, and of that group, Embley, Kerr and Masten are most likely to be in consideration for selection.

WESTERN BULLDOGS
Ayce Cordy (stress fractures) - 4 weeks
Tory Dickson (ankle) - 4 weeks
Shaun Higgins (foot) - season
Lin Jong (leg) – 5 weeks
Michael Talia (broken jaw) - available
Tom Williams (adductor) - available
Easton Wood (hamstring) - 3-5 weeks

The Doc says: Cordy has a stress fracture of his fibula and is expected to miss between four and six weeks. Williams hasn't played this year – and hasn't played since round 18 last season – and is recovering from an adductor strain. He is likely to be tested at training this week. Wood has missed four games but is recovering well and may return a little earlier than expected.
