Naitanui was the talk of the AFL over the weekend following his pack mark and goal after the siren to give the Eagles a thrilling two-point victory over North Melbourne at Patersons Stadium.
Understandably, the Giants have decided to capitalise on the star's appeal as they try to build on the 5830 people who attended the Mother's Day match against Adelaide at their home ground two weeks ago.
The All Australian ruckman and his teammates face GWS at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday afternoon and Naitanui features heavily on the Giants' website, along with their own athletic young star Jeremy Cameron.
GWS coach Kevin Sheedy has continued his penchant for penning 'open letters' to various AFL identities this season, addressing his thoughts to Naitanui directly on Wednesday.
Naitanui was born in Penrith in Sydney's west of Fijian parents before moving to Western Australia as a young child.
"From the moment you set foot on an AFL field, you captured the public's imagination with your extraordinary athleticism, prodigious leap and ability to provide dazzling moments like last weekend," Sheedy wrote.
"Our game needs stars and you are truly one of those. I only wish you had never left Western Sydney and had played for the Giants.
"I am pleased though that you will be coming here this Saturday when the Eagles play the Giants at Skoda Stadium.
"Our game needs drawcards and you are certainly one of those.
"I know if I was a sports fan in Sydney where I would be heading at 2pm this Saturday."
Sheedy even revealed his strategy for nullifying the big man.
"So how am I going to stop you? I've given it a lot of thought and I've come up with a radical idea," he wrote.
"I've asked for the nets behind the goals at ŠKODA Stadium to besuspended in the air above the ground.
"If we can't stop you at groundlevel, we might be able to net you when you leap in the air. Now thatwould be a YouTube sensation."
