CARLTON forward Chris Yarran has been dropped for Friday night's clash against Hawthorn after this week apologising to teammates and coaches for poor body language during last Friday night's loss to Essendon.

Yarran, who started as the substitute and was activated at three-quarter time against the Bombers, was omitted along with defender Simon White, with Andrew Carrazzo and Josh Bootsma recalled.

Hawthorn has made two changes, recalling ruckman Max Bailey and forward Jack Gunston, who sat out the team's 95-point win over Melbourne, and omitting Kyle Cheney and Sam Grimley.

Richmond and Adelaide have both been bolstered for Saturday night's crunch game at the MCG, with important Tigers Reece Conca and Brandon Ellis returning from injury.

Sam Lonergan has been omitted, while Matt Dea will miss with a calf injury.

The Crows have named David Mackay, Matthew Jaensch, Matthew Wright and Luke Brown, with Sam Kerridge, Brent Reilly and Brad Crouch omitted. Jared Petrenko will miss with a shoulder injury.

The Brisbane Lions have made seven changes for their clash against Fremantle, with Tom Rockliff , Daniel Rich and ruckman Matthew Leuenberger headlining the inclusions.

Jordan Lisle, Mitch Golby, Niall McKeever and Sam Mayes also return for Saturday's clash at Patersons Stadium.

Brent Moloney will miss with a back injury while James Polkinghorne, Patrick Karnezis, Billy Longer, Jack Crisp, Sam Michael and Marco Paparone have been omitted.

Fremantle has made just one change, with key defender Alex Silvagni replacing midfielder Cameron Sutclifffe.

Essendon has lost veteran defender Dustin Fletcher with a groin injury and omitted Will Hams for the match with Gold Coast on Saturday night. Tayte Pears and Jackson Merrett have been included.

Charlie Dixon will miss for the Suns with an ankle injury, replaced by Daniel Gorringe.

The Western Bulldogs will be boosted for their clash against Collingwood on Sunday, with captain Matthew Boyd and midfielder Adam Cooney set to return from injury.

Lukas Markovic and Tom Campbell have also been named in a 25-man squad, with Tom Williams (shoulder) out.

Collingwood has named Sam Dwyer, Tim Broomhead and Jamie Elliot in its extended squad, with no one omitted at this stage following the club's big Queen's Birthday win over Melbourne.

Greater Western Sydney has added Will Hoskin-Elliott , Zac Williams and Toby Greene to its 25-man squad for Sunday's clash against Port Adelaide.

The Power have named Matt Thomas, Matthew Lobbe, Paul Stewart, Andrew Moore and Nathan Blee, with Campbell Heath omitted.
