RICHMOND ruckman Ivan Maric will miss Saturday’s match against North Melbourne with a minor groin strain.

Maric, who has played 11 of 13 games this season, will miss his second consecutive match as he bids to return to full fitness, the club reported on richmondfc.com.au.

The 27-year-old, who suffered an ankle injury earlier this season, was replaced last week by Orren Stephenson, who had 30 hit-outs and 12 disposals against St Kilda.

Midfielder Nick Vlastuin will be monitored through the week as he recovers from a bruised shin, suffered in round 13 against the Western Bulldogs.

Defender David Astbury (ankle) is also expected to be available.

In positive news for the Tigers, midfielder Shane Tuck made an impressive return from a shoulder injury in the VFL last weekend, amassing 31 disposals.
