SATURDAY'S final between Geelong and Fremantle has sold out, with eager fans snapping up all available tickets within hours of them going on sale to the general public on Monday afternoon.

Following fears that Dockers supporters would miss out on tickets at the 34,000 capacity venue, only 2000 of the visitors' allocated 4000 members' tickets were taken up on Monday morning.

The remaining seats, along with unsold Geelong members' seats, were then made available to non-members at 2pm AEST, with the AFL announcing the sell-out at 6pm.

However, fans still wishing to secure a seat for the qualifying final clash do have some hope, with any unused club, AFL or corporate-allocated tickets to be released to the public on Thursday morning.

Sunday's blockbuster elimination final between Richmond and Carlton has also attracted huge interest, with only 427 restricted and standing room tickets remaining.

There are 24,000 tickets left for Friday night's qualifying final between Hawthorn and the Sydney Swans, and 30,200 for Collingwood v Port Adelaide on Saturday night.

AFL members' tickets for the three MCG matches go on sale at 9am AEST on Tuesday morning.
