AFL LEGENDS John Coleman, Darrel Baldock and Barry Cable are now members of the illustrious 200-club, after a shift by the League in qualifications for the group.

Under previous guidelines the three AFL Hall of Fame Legends did not make the list because their games tally, as players, alone, was short of the required 200-game mark.

But the League has decided to change the qualifications to combine playing, coaching and umpiring records.

AFL chief Andrew Demetriou said the AFL recognised total games as its basis for life membership and therefore total games should also be the basis of qualification for the 200 Club.

Current senior coaches Brad Scott and Ross Lyon have also been included in the list of names, while Neil Balme, Chris Connolly and Grant Thomas are other notable additions.

A total of 59 former players and coaches have joined the 200-club, with the late Jimmy Smith, who played and coached St Kilda in the early part of the 20th century, qualifying as a result of 33 games as an umpire, 132 as a St Kilda player and then a further 49 as coach of the club.
