STEELE Sidebottom will miss Collingwood's next three games after accepting his sanction handed down by the Match Review Panel but Jay Schulz will head to Tuesday night's Tribunal to contest his striking offence.

The Port Adelaide forward was charged with striking Melbourne's Neville Jetta in the fourth quarter of the Power's win in Alice Springs on Saturday.

He was handed a reprimand and 60 demerit points with an early plea. He will be risking 80 carry-over points towards his future record by contesting.

Regardless of the outcome, Schulz will be free to play against St Kilda on Saturday at Adelaide Oval.

But as expected, Sidebottom will now miss clashes with Melbourne, the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn in the coming weeks after taking his suspension for making contact with Maverick Weller on Friday night.

Sidebottom charged at Weller in the opening seconds of the Magpies' 86-point win over St Kilda and caught him with an elbow to the head.

Weller was subbed out with concussion.

Sidebottom said on Monday he was embarrassed by the incident and would accept his punishment.

"It shook me up a bit and to say that it wasn't on my mind I'd be lying," Sidebottom told Channel 7.

"It did a bit and I went over and apologised.

"It happened and there was nothing I could do after it.

"I just said I was sorry and I'm pretty embarrassed by what's happened.

"I don't like to be seen like that and I'll obviously find out today what's going to happen and I'll just take it on the chin."

Greater Western Sydney will also be without forward Jeremy Cameron for Saturday night's clash with Essendon after he accepted a one-game sanction.

Cameron was charged with rough conduct against Hawthorn's Jarryd Roughead in an incident that left the Giant with a suspected fractured left arm.

While the out-of-form forward played out the game, he went to hospital afterwards where he was cleared of a break.

Brisbane Lion Ryan Harwood has accepted a $900 sanction for making negligent contact with umpire Chris Kamolins in the third quarter of the Lions' win over Carlton on Saturday.
