"We've told the club we want to wait until the end of the season," Malceski's manager Ben Niall told Fairfax.
"Nick's focus is on his footy and helping the Swans win a premiership, and the finals aren't far away.
"It's a massive decision. It's the last really big decision Nick's going to make in his career and we want to use the time we have to look at all the options and make the best decision we can for him and his family.
"He's not disgruntled, he just wants to take his time, look at everything that's available to him and make a considered decision."
