• Manage and coordinate Club operations and administration 
  • Develop and implement an innovative commercial operation outcomes (incl. sponsorships, memberships etc) 
  • Successfully promote and organise Club events and fundraising activities

The Old Xaverians Football Club has a reputation as a leader in amateur sport in Australia, with well established success, values and behaviours. The Club is a proud, thriving and progressive member of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) and is well placed for future success, both on and off the field. 

To assist the Club in achieving its future strategic goals and business plan, the Committee is presently seeking to appoint a motivated and talented individual to assume responsibility for the effective and highly professional administration and oversight of the Old Xaverians Football Club’s operations. 

Reporting directly to the Old Xaverians Football Club Committee, the successful applicant will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of activities including: - 

  • Managing and coordinating the Club’s administrative operations and administration 
  • Identifying, creating and promoting a range of commercial outcomes 
  • Building the Club’s profile, public image and community relations 
  • Planning, overseeing and directing all Club functions, events and fundraising activities 
  • Developing and maintaining existing relationships with relevant stakeholders including other clubs, football associations, municipal groups and government agencies 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administrative and communication skills (both written and oral), high level of organisational skills and attention to detail, flexibility and capability of working a wide array of hours with a varying time schedule to suit the seasonal priorities of a football club and demonstration of the ability to work independently and effectively to achieve the preferred outcomes of the Club. 

An attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience will be offered to the successful candidate.
