Hawthorn v Geelong, Friday September 5, 7.50pm at the MCG

Wearing the No. 14 guernsey, captain courageous Joel Selwood is a big game performer and will rise to the occasion against the Hawks. 'Boris' Enright and Sam Mitchell are as solid as they come, while Jordan Lewis has been on fire of late. The Hawks' rough and tumble midfielder was averaging 149 Fantasy points as the season drew to a close. Mitch Duncan has hit a purple patch and 'Roughy' is set for a big night if he can shake Harry Taylor, who figures to be sitting in his back pocket come Friday night.

Sydney Swans v Fremantle, Saturday September 6, 2.45pm at ANZ Stadium

Make 'Bud' your captain and your Fantasy Match Day team will enjoy the spoils by the end of the night. Franklin is well rested and set to make his mark on the big stage, as he has done so often in the past. Aaron Sandilands is the best ruckman in the competition and rightly deserves his place in this Fantasy side. Nat Fyfe and Josh Kennedy are a model of consistency and you should be prepared to back 'Joey' as he returns from injury. Luke Parker is just about the most-improved player in the League and will round out your Match Day side beautifully.

North Melbourne v Essendon, Saturday September 6, 7.15pm at the MCG

Nicky Dal and Hibberd win plenty of their own ball, linking up with teammates when transitioning out of defence. The Bombers' skipper has had a few quiet weeks, but could well lead your side to a Fantasy triumph on Saturday night. I'm backing Jack Ziebell to fire, ahead of decorated teammates Andrew Swallow and Ben Cunnington. Ryder was exceptional against Carlton and he'll get the better of his battle with 'Goldy'. Winderlich and Zaharakis will win loads of possessions and hit the scoreboard as well.

Port Adelaide v Richmond, Sunday September 7, 2.50pm at Adelaide Oval

'Trusty Dusty' is what I'm dubbing him. Martin is a Fantasy beast and he'll deliver for you when it matters most. 'Cotch' and 'Harts' are proven ball winners, while Alex Rance and Nick Vlastuin will be critical players as the Tiges look to advance. Big Ivan will jostle and knock into Matt Lobbe all day and eventually he'll get the best of that duel. As the best player in the competition this season, Robbie Gray is a lock in Sunday's Fantasy Match Day team.
