WEST Coast has delisted utility Ashley Smith and defender Jacob Brennan.

The Eagles pair played just two matches each this season and neither will be offered a contract for 2015.

Smith played 45 matches with the Eagles after he was recruited as a third round selection in the 2008 NAB AFL draft.

Brennan managed 28 matches in three years as a father-son recruit. His father Michael was inducted into the West Coast hall of fame in August. He was a dual premiership player who played 179 games and was a foundation Eagle in 1987.

Eagles football operations manager Craig Vozzo told the club's website that both men had made great contributions to West Coast during their time at the club.

"Jacob and Ashley have been valuable members of our squad for the last few years," Vozzo said.

"It is not pleasant releasing people of this calibre, but it is something that has to occur.

"I would like to thank Jacob and Ashley for their contributions to the club and wish them every success for the future."

The club has now made four changes to its list from 2014 following the retirements of club legends Darren Glass and Dean Cox.
