The 24-man Australian squad to contest the 2014 Virgin Australia International Rules Test match against Ireland, to be played at Patersons Stadium in Perth on Saturday November 22, will gather in Sydney from this Sunday evening, November 16, to prepare for the game.

Thanks to the co-operation of the GWS Giants, the Australian squad will be preparing at Tom Wills Oval on both Monday and Tuesday, before heading to Perth to complete its lead-up work.

Monday November 17, Sydney

10.15am approx local time - Jarrad McVeigh, Travis Boak and Brodie Smith available before team training. GWS Giants coach Leon Cameron will welcome the Australian squad to the club’s facilities. Australian team training will be open for vision / pictures.

Tuesday November 18, Sydney

12.15pm local time approx. (exact time tbc) – Two players available before team practice match against the NSW Gaelic Football team. The practice match, scheduled to begin at 1.45pm, will be open for vision / pictures. The squad then departs for Perth that evening.

Wednesday November 19, Perth

10am local Perth time approx. (exact time tbc) – Two players available at team recovery session at City Beach, Perth.

Thursday November 20

9am local time approx. (exact time tbc) – Three players available before team training session at Patersons Stadium. Australian team training will be open for vision / pictures.

Friday November 21

11am – Australian team training at Patersons Stadium.

12.30pm, Burswood – Joint media conference with Australia / Ireland team captains and senior coaches.
