FREMANTLE defender Michael Johnson has been subbed out of Friday night's game during the first quarter against Richmond after appearing to suffer an injury to his right hamstring.

Johnson, playing in his 200th game, managed just one kick before the injury as the Tigers surprised the Dockers with a barnstorming first quarter.

The 30-year-old was visibly upset as he changed into the red vest. He was replaced by Hayden Crozier.
