THE BRISBANE Lions have been dealt further injury blows, with Josh Green and Mitch Robinson to spend time on the sidelines.

Green, the team’s leading goalkicker in 2015, will spend four to six weeks out after an MRI confirmed a stress fracture in his foot.

Lions medical staff do not believe Green will require surgery.

Robinson, one of the best for his team in the past two weeks and the equal-leader in tackles for the season with Jack Redden, will be out for two to four weeks after his MRI showed damage to his ankle.

Robinson was terrific against Fremantle on Sunday, nullifying the influence of Brownlow Medal favourite Nat Fyfe for much of the game.

The blows continue a horror run for the injury-hit Lions in 2015.

In better news, captain Tom Rockliff (ribs), Pearce Hanley (hamstring) and Dan Merrett (hamstring) are all expected to be available for Sunday's clash with the Sydney Swans at the Gabba.
