• Nine things we learned from round 16
• How did your club's players fare in this week's state leagues?

IT WAS an amazing round in which Todd Goldstein got his owners off to a flying start with an amazing 175, especially the ones that gave him captaincy responsibilities. Who in their right mind would have thought that huge effort would be bettered in the coming games? As usual, with the highs, there were many lows and some popular premiums have been put on notice including the likes of Nat Fyfe, Michael Barlow, Luke Parker and Dyson Heppell.

Fantasy Pig

If back-to-back rounds of 119 was not enough to convince you that Gary Ablett is ready to go, how about a round-high 176 with 30 touches and a career-high 17 tackles, not to mention a lazy three goals. If you were unable to pick him up in the past few weeks, he is a must have.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

Dyson Heppell has had a great season to date, but shouldering the load of responsibility finally weighed him down and he was tagged to a season low 58 from 16 touches, which included just five kicks. Hopefully he can turn it around but he is lacking support when opposition teams apply a hard tag. A trade to the likes of under-priced stars Ablett or Tom Rockliff is not out of the question.

Junior Swine

It is a few weeks overdue, but young Dog Caleb Daniel is the real deal with scores of 54 (vest), 72 and 65. He has fitted in perfectly at the kennel, doing his job security no harm and his positive impact on games has his vest prospect lengthening by the week.

Round 16's top 10 scores:

Gary Ablett: 176
Todd Goldstein: 175
Josh Caddy: 145
Steven Motlop: 139
Callan Ward: 138
Ed Curnow: 136
Luke Hodge: 135
Luke Dahlhaus: 132
Brent Harvey: 129
Travis Boak: 128

Fantasy mailbag

Haha, that is why he is the reigning Fantasy Pig! He finds a way to get it done!

Now that would be a handy captain score!

This is an issue I share ... We have to find a way!

Great effort, mate!
