• Nine things we learned from round 19
• How did your club's players fare in this week's state leagues?

Mixed emotions in Fantasy land as the regular season draws to a close for some coaches, while on the flipside, the season begins for those lucky enough to make the top eight. If you are one of the unlucky teams to miss, remember that the bottom eight has 'Reserves' finals series so get back on the horses, because pride is still on the line in the bottom half.

Fantasy Pig

The evergreen Leigh Montagna has been in vintage form this season and he is well worth considering as a midfield upgrade on the back of this week's performance. He was the equal top scorer for the round with 155 after amassing 36 touches, 11 marks, six tackles and a goal.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

Coming into the finals with complete teams, the expectations on our midfielders is high and rightly so given that is where we have forked up the big bucks. That is why Luke Parker's score of 61 is completely unacceptable. The biggest worry here is that this is his fourth score under 100 in the last five weeks making a luxury trade very tempting.

Junior Swine

Rory Atkins had a great game for the Crows and as a result he has become a viable downgrade option with the improved job security and impressive scoring ability. The young midfielder scored 75 points from 24 possessions and six marks.

Round 19's top 5 scores:

Todd Goldstein: 155
Dane Swan: 155
Leigh Montagna: 155
Marc Murphy: 139
Stefan Martin: 136

Could have, should have… Didn’t.

We are very spoilt in the ruck department this year! All three are better than most of my midfield!

How frustrating! Every guy I trade in at the moment is having a stinker first up.

He was back in Beast Mode this weekend! Hard to ignore as captain for sure!

No doubt about Swanny! I can’t believe every team doesn’t have him?! Good luck in your Finals preparation
