• Nine things we learned from round 23
• How did your club's players fare in this week's state leagues?

IT WAS the big dance and thankfully I gave the captaincy responsibility to my boy, the Pig, Tom Rockliff, who was outstanding with 149. Lucky for me I had the Pig in waiting Tom Mitchell as a unique in my match-up with AFL Fantasy royalty and Ex-Hawk Mitch Thorpe, who had an unlucky run in the GF despite being odds on favourite after team selections. Hopefully you had those boys in your quest for the ultimate bragging rights and are currently giving it to your mates like I am.

Fantasy Pig

Tom Mitchell is all but confirmed to be the third Pig recognised with the ultimate individual prize in AFL. He is hot on the heels of the GOATS Dane Swan and Tom Rockliff for the honour on the back of 36 touches and 12 tackles for a round high 163 in the most important round of the season.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

With up to four premium defenders resting, finding the ultimate replacement could have been the difference between winning and losing the GF. That is why Liam Picken is the recipient of the Presti despite having a breakout year where he has averaged over 100 points per game. On the biggest day in the Fantasy season, Picken managed just 21 touches and 70 points which could have been the difference between winning and losing for many Fantasy coaches.

Junior Swine

Ethan Hughes made the most of his opportunity with the Dockers' mass resting with an amazing debut, going on to be the second highest scorer with an impressive score of 93 from 22 possessions and eight marks.

Round 22's top five scores:

Tom Mitchell - 163
Stef Martin - 152
Tom Rockliff - 149
Pearce Hanley - 148
Andrew Mackie - 144

Yes… Sorry, I’m just pumped!

Haha, no, that’s what it’s all about Jepp. There is always a way to look forward in Fantasy.

Got it done on the big stage. A lot of OINK about him, that’s for sure

Hopefully you were lucky enough to get the win against your mates, if not, make sure you keep listening to the podcast as we review and preview over the next few weeks as well as focus on getting a Match Day win.
