GOLD Coast has delisted four players, including former national high jump champion Josh Hall, and three rookies.

Hall played seven games in four seasons at the Suns and has now signed a two-year deal to switch codes to rugby league's Penrith Panthers.

Rookies Tyrone Downie, Jarred Ellis and Louis Herbert have also been delisted.

Herbert was the only one among the trio to see senior action, playing three games in 2014.

Andrew Raines, Greg Broughton and Timmy Sumner had already retired.

Gold Coast will also seek trades for Charlie Dixon and Harley Bennell during the upcoming exchange period.
