Geelong v Sydney Swans
2nd Preliminary Final
MCG
LOCKOUT: 7.50pm AEST, Friday September 23

It will be a hard-fought preliminary final as the Cats host the Swans at the MCG.

The top-scoring player of the season, Patrick Dangerfield, had a field day in the only time the two teams met this year. He racked up 34 disposals on his way to 139 Fantasy points.

While he will be a popular choice to not only make the team, but also as captain, the Swans have a multitude of midfielders who have been among the best players this season.

Josh Kennedy is coming off 144 last week and let’s not forget his blistering late-season form where he averaged 121 over the last eight rounds.

Luke Parker, Dan Hannebery and Tom Mitchell are also worthy options for your two midfield spots.

Last time they met: round 16, Simonds Stadium

Greater Western Sydney v Western Bulldogs
1st Preliminary Final
Spotless Stadium
LOCKOUT: 5.15pm AEST, Saturday September 24

At Spotless Stadium it’s the new kids on the block up against everyone’s second team.

Starting in the backline, how can you go past Heath Shaw?

Last time he played the Dogs, 176 points were next to his name thanks to 36 kicks and two handballs. That kick-to-handball ratio put a smile on Fantasy coaches’ faces.

Zac Williams plays a similar game and could be your second defender if you’re willing to pass up consistent Bulldog performers Matthew Boyd and Jason Johannisen.

The forward line presents a variety of candidates to help you win cash.

Josh Dunkley scored 116 in the semi-final and could be a unique option over teammates Luke Dahlhaus, Clay Smith and Caleb Daniel.

For the Giants, Toby Greene appears to be a safe option as one of your two forwards with Devon Smith potentially an X-factor if he can post a 100-plus score.

Last time they met: round nine, Spotless Stadium
