The AFL wishes to advise the Match Review Panel has reviewed the matches played in week two of the 2017 JLT Community Series. The following charges were laid:

Charges Laid:

Nathan Krakouer, Port Adelaide, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Sean Dempster, St Kilda, during the third quarter of the Week Two JLT Community Series match between Port Adelaide and St Kilda, played at Etihad Stadium on Thursday February 23, 2017.

In summary, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea. 

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the St Kilda Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a one-match sanction. 

Jesse Hogan, Melbourne, has been charged with making contact with umpire Ben Ryan at the start of the second quarter of the Week Two JLT Community Series match between Melbourne and Carlton, played at Casey Fields on Saturday February 25, 2017.

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea. 

A first offence for making contact with an umpire is classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a $1000 sanction. 

Ben Cunnington, North Melbourne, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Taylor Duryea, Hawthorn, during the second quarter of the Week Two JLT Community Series match between North Melbourne and Hawthorn, played at Arden Street on Sunday February 26, 2017. 

In summary, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.

The incident was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a one-match sanction.
