ADELAIDE is considering tagging either Patrick Dangerfield or Joel Selwood in an attempt to limit the influence of Geelong's star duo in Friday night's blockbuster.
Dangerfield has torn the Crows apart in his two games against his former side, racking up 69 possessions, with 39 of those contested, across both Cats' victories last year.
Selwood has also had a sizeable impact, averaging 29 disposals, with the pair posing the biggest threat to the Crows who are attempting their first win at Simonds Stadium since 2003.

Crows midfield coach Scott Camporeale was holding his cards close to his chest when pressed on whether they would tag the Cats' superstars.
"We've tried a couple of guys over the pre-season, but we won't be giving Geelong any idea if we do it," Camporeale said.
"(Rory) Laird might be one.
"They (Dangerfield and Selwood) are two quality players and they are two big barometers for their footy team.
"We haven't necessarily done it in the past, and that's not to say we'll do it on Friday night either, but it's certainly an option we need to think about, like we do every week."
The top of the table Crows have rediscovered their best form having disposed of Fremantle by 100 points last weekend, putting them in the right frame of mind ahead of trying to beat the Cats on their home turf for the first time in 14 years.
"The blueprint was the other night," Camporeale said.
"If the contest stuff is at the level and we can move the ball the way we want to move the ball, and if our defence is good, the three phases, if we can get all three of those phases right we'll give them a hard night."
The Crows aren't expected to make any changes to their side, but could consider handing a recall to 307-game veteran Scott Thompson.
The 34-year-old midfielder has overcome an injury-affected start to the season to put in some solid form in the SANFL.
"He's pushing for selection, his body is back in AFL shape, so his GPS numbers and everything he's doing at SANFL level is back to where it should be," Camporeale said.
"He's now got to put his hand up to take someone else's spot, I guess.
"We're rapt he's back in some sort of condition and form that we've got a pretty talented guy back there that we can call on."
