The 10: round 13's best moments The best countdown in the game with all the best highlights from the weekend

HALLELUJAH! They're over. They were by far the worst bye rounds I have ever endured, compounded by the worst round of my AFL Fantasy career to finish them off. On a positive note, we don't have to think or talk about byes for another 12 months and it's finally business as usual again.

Fantasy pig

Bryce Gibbs, take a bow, and any of the people who suggested he wouldn't turn up to play his best footy for the Blues this season can enjoy eating their words... because they were way off. Gibbs continued his outstanding season with a performance for the ages against the Suns, racking up a season-high 194 from 43 touches, eight marks, 10 tackles and two goals. It was a tough round on all fronts but Gibbsy certainly rose to the occasion for his owners.

Six things we learned from round 13

Honourable mention: Dayne Zorko is having an amazing season and it was well and truly on display in a tough game against Port in Adelaide. Despite being against the odds to maintain his high average, he dominated with 157, highlighted by 12 tackles and a couple of goals.

Rage trades

Tom Rockliff. Judging by my Twitter account, Rocky's score of 74 was partly his fault, and partly my fault. It had nothing to do with the fact he was physically sick to the point that he only managed 59 per cent game time, and most of his second half was spent at full forward as a result. Trade at your own risk here – I certainly won't be.

Honourable mention: Joel Selwood's brother had an excuse for his sub-par score after succumbing to a hamstring injury, but Joel… he just let his coaches down with a shocker. He was well tagged by the Eagles, who curbed his usual influence by holding him to 19 touches with no marks and only two tackles for 48.

Around the state leagues: Who starred in your club's twos?

Declan Mountford. It was slim pickings on the rookie front but Mountford was serviceable with 61 from 15 touches and five tackles, where he played a lot of minutes as a tagger. His performance was certainly good enough to hold his spot.

The top five

  • Bryce Gibbs: 194
  • Dayne Zorko: 157
  • Sam Docherty: 143
  • Kade Simpson: 148
  • Ollie Wines: 119

Trade targets

  • Jake Lloyd
  • Bachar Houli
  • Robbie Gray
  • Seb Ross
  • Dom Sheed

After the siren: Blues jump the queue in rebuilding race

Fantasy mailbag

Haha, I hear you Moose. I have a good feeling that the return to normality will bring good things. Hang in there.

Roo and JPK

He is certainly in the mix and a worthy option. Form, durability, low ownership, great price.

They are both massive issues and yes, tradeable given the circumstances.
