GREATER Western Sydney forward Toby Greene has been charged by the Match Review Panel for the fourth time this season, with the serial offender accepting a two-match ban for striking Richmond defender Alex Rance.

Greene's bad record meant he could not accept a one-match penalty for the intentional strike, with a two-match suspension for striking Caleb Daniel in round six coming back to haunt him.

The Giants immediately announced they would accept the MRP's suspension, rather than contest it at the Tribunal.

The 23-year-old was also fined $1000 for misconduct in the JLT Community Series and $1000 for striking Port Adelaide's Dan Houston in round four. He was cleared of headbutting Sydney's Isaac Heeney because of insufficient force in round five.

Greene's strike on Rance, graded intentional conduct with low impact to the head, was his eighth charge in 111 games (excluding melee involvement and umpire contact).

The All Australian was one of three players suspended in round 18, with Brisbane Lions star Dayne Zorko and Western Bulldogs forward Jack Redpath banned for one game.

Zorko was charged with intentionally striking Carlton defender Lachie Plowman in the stomach, with the hit graded as medium impact.

The Lions star was also fined $1000 for striking draftee Sam Petrevski-Seton, with the hit graded as intentional conduct with low impact to the body.

Redpath accepted a one-match ban for striking Gold Coast co-captain Tom Lynch, making high contact with a right hook amid a flurry of jumper punches.

The hit was graded as intentional conduct with low impact to the head, meaning Redpath will miss the Bulldogs' crunch game against Essendon on Sunday.

Lynch, meanwhile, accepted a $1500 fine for a second offence of wrestling Redpath, with the Bulldogs' forward fine $1000 for a first offence.

Fremantle star Michael Walters was charged with intentionally striking Hawthorn midfielder Tom Mitchell, drawing a $1500 fine for a second offence. Walters struck Mitchell to the back, with the hit graded as low impact.

Sydney midfielder Isaac Heeney has been cleared of any wrongdoing for a tackle on St Kilda captain Jarryn Geary.

The MRP found Heeney "took Geary straight to ground without using excessive force" after the St Kilda defender had leapt into the air before contact was made.

Essendon tall Cale Hooker was also cleared after the MRP deemed he had made "negligible contact with an open-hand push" to North Melbourne defender Daniel Nielson.

West Coast midfielder Dom Sheed can accept a $1000 fine making careless umpire contact in Sunday's loss to Collingwood.
