A LIMITED number of tickets will go on sale on Tuesday afternoon for the opening weekend of the Toyota AFL Finals Series.

A number of unsold club and AFL membership tickets will be available via ticketing agencies for Thursday night's Adelaide-Greater Western Sydney qualifying final at Adelaide Oval, Friday night's Richmond-Geelong qualifying final at the MCG and Saturday afternoon's elimination final between Sydney and Essendon at the SCG.

A crowd of at least 98,000 is expected to converge on the MCG to see the Tigers take on the Cats, while near-capacity crowds are predicted to witness the Crows host the Giants and the Swans take on the Bombers.

As of Monday night, the elimination final between Port Adelaide and West Coast had 6400 tickets remaining at a venue with a capacity of 53,500.

Thursday September 7

First Qualifying Final, Adelaide v GWS at Adelaide Oval. Limited unsold club and AFL tickets for the Adelaide v GWS match at Adelaide Oval will be released for sale via Ticketek at 2pm ACST, Tuesday September 5. Tickets are strictly limited and subject to availability.

Friday September 8

Second Qualifying Final, Geelong v Richmond at the MCG. Limited unsold club and AFL tickets for the Geelong v Richmond match at the MCG will be released for sale via Ticketek at 2pm AEST, Tuesday September 5. Tickets are strictly limited and subject to availability.

Saturday September 9

Second Elimination Final, Sydney v Essendon at the SCG. Limited unsold club and AFL tickets for the Sydney v Essendon match at the SCG will be released for sale via Ticketek at 2pm AEST, Tuesday September 5. Tickets are strictly limited and subject to availability.

First Elimination Final, Port Adelaide v West Coast at Adelaide Oval. 6400 public tickets remain available for sale.
