THE OFF-FIELD changes at North Melbourne continue, with Brad Green and Alex Ishchenko departing Brad Scott's coaching team.

North recently parted company with long-term high performance manager Steve Saunders following the South Australian's move into a part-time role at the club in 2017 after his relocation to his home state.

The Kangaroos announced on Thursday Green and Ishchenko would also be departing the club, saying Ishchenko wanted to focus on his rapidly growing business interests. The club's statement did not address Green's future plans.

Green spent two years as one of Scott's assistant coaches and oversaw North's backline group, while Ishchenko served as part-time ruck coach for eight seasons.

North football manager Cameron Joyce lauded the contribution Green had made at the club.

"Brad has been a great support to Brad Scott and the players since joining us from Carlton," Joyce said.

"He is a quality person with a tremendous amount of football knowledge after spending almost 20 years at the highest level as a player and assistant coach."

Ruckman Todd Goldstein, who in 2015 won North's best and fairest award and All Australian selection, paid tribute to Ishchenko's role in his development.

"I'm indebted to Alex and the work he's done with me over the journey," Goldstein said.

"His experience and knowledge of the ruck craft and the game has been invaluable.

"He's helped me through so many periods in my career since becoming ruck coach in 2010 and I'm sad to see him go."

Green played 254 games for Melbourne from 2000-12 before moving into coaching with the Blues at the end of his playing career.

Ishchenko played 142 games for West Coast, Brisbane Lions and North from 1987-95.
