DASHING Collingwood defender Sam Murray will be available to face Essendon in his first Anzac Day game after being cleared for a high hit on Adelaide forward Mitch McGovern.

Murray's hit, which came with just under six minutes left in the third quarter, came after the two contested a loose ball from different directions.

Match Review Officer Michael Christian found both players sought the ball, with Murray then bracing for the inevitable contact. Therefore, no further action was taken.

Crows captain Taylor Walker has accepted a $2000 fine for striking midfielder Adam Treloar in the second term.

It was assessed as intentional with low impact to the body.

Meanwhile, Adelaide young gun Darcy Fogarty has been cleared for his contact on Ben Crocker in the final term.

The Magpie leapt for the football and Christian believed Fogarty had his eyes on the ball until the last moment, when contact could not be avoided.

Christian ruled Fogarty was not careless, so no penalty was handed down.
