FORMER Brisbane Lion Josh Schache will make his first appearance for the Western Bulldogs, who dropped three players after last week's loss to Adelaide.

In the other big team selection news, Greater Western Sydney has regained Josh Kelly from injury, Paddy McCartin and Jake Carlisle are back for the Saints and Carlton skipper Marc Murphy will miss with his foot injury.

Schache, who has kicked nine goals in the past three weeks in the VFL, is one of three inclusions for the Dogs for their clash with Collingwood at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.

FULL TEAMS Check 'em out

Schache, drafted by the Lions with their prized No.2 selection in 2015, arrived at the Dogs last off-season with coach Luke Beveridge praising his form this week.

Mitch Wallis, Lukas Webb and premiership player Josh Dunkley have all been omitted, while Tory Dickson and Roarke Smith are in.

The Pies will welcome the return of strong-bodied midfielder Levi Greenwood and forward Ben Reid, while Josh Daicos is also back. Daniel Wells is out as the club manages his load, Alex Fasolo will miss with his serious ankle injury and Sam Murray has been dropped.

St Kilda has made five changes for its contest with Richmond at the MCG on Saturday, headed by Carlisle and McCartin returning from their respective concussions.

Former Port defender Logan Austin will play his first game for the Saints, with Brandon White and Dan McKenzie also in.

Experienced midfielder David Armitage has paid the price for his poor form by being dropped, joining Rowan Marshall (also omitted), Nathan Brown (knee), Mav Weller (concussion) and Nick Coffield (managed) on the sidelines.

Premiership duo Jason Castagna (soreness) and Jacob Townsend are among three outs for the Tigers, along with Sam Lloyd. Jack Higgins, Connor Menadue and Callum Moore are in for Richmond.

The Giants will be bolstered by the return of brilliant midfielder Kelly for its meeting with Essendon on Saturday night.

Kelly has missed the past six games with a groin injury but is back for the Spotless Stadium clash, with the Giants also recalling Jonathon Patton. Matt Buntine is in for his first senior game since round two last year after recovering from his knee injury.

Isaac Cumming, Jeremy Finlayson and Lachlan Keefe have all been dropped by the Giants, while co-captain Phil Davis misses a second week with concussion.

Andrew McGrath has recovered from his calf injury and is the Bombers' only inclusion, at the expense of one-gamer Dylan Clarke. Michael Hurley, as expected, will miss another week with his hamstring injury.

FANTASY READY Everything you need to know for round 10

Esava Ratugolea is one of four changes for the Cats, joined by Rhys Stanley, Brandan Parfitt and debutant Jamaine Jones.

Coach Chris Scott has swung the axe after last week's shocking performance against Essendon, with George Horlin-Smith, James Parsons, Zac Smith and Jackson Thurlow all dropped.

Murphy's absence will hurt the Blues, but they will get Charlie Curnow back from injury and his brother Ed from suspension, while No.1 pick Jacob Weitering will also face the Cats.

The Swans will head to Brisbane without Callum Mills, who will miss the rest of the season after breaking his foot in a freak accident, while Gary Rohan has been left out. Harry Marsh returns the line-up, while running half-back Ryley Stoddard, the Swans' third pick at last year's NAB AFL Draft, will make his debut.

Brisbane will go into the game unchanged after last week's breakthrough win over Hawthorn.

Midfield gun Jaeger O'Meara is one of six possible changes for the Hawks, who are also set to welcome back key defender James Frawley for Sunday's meeting with West Coast at Etihad Stadium.

Versatile swingman Jarrod Brander, West Coast's first pick at last year's draft, is in line to make his senior debut for the Eagles after being named in an extended squad.

Adelaide has named Matt Crouch to play against Melbourne in Alice Springs on Sunday after his second hamstring injury of the season.

Dom Tyson, Jayden Hunt, Cam Pedersen and Jeff Garlett have been added to the Dees' squad.

Stephen Hill's return will boost the Dockers as they host North Melbourne on Sunday, with Danyle Pearce and Shane Kersten also among the possible inclusions.

Majak Daw has been rested as the Roos take to Optus Stadium, with North's top pick from last year's draft, Luke Davies-Uniacke, in line to return.

Gold Coast and Port Adelaide have their bye this round after last week's contest in China.
