MELBOURNE has resisted the urge to recall experienced heads Dom Tyson and Jeff Garlett ahead of its grudge match against Adelaide at TIO Traeger Park in Alice Springs on Sunday afternoon.
The Demons will go in with the same 22 that demolished Carlton last week in Jake Lever's first match against his former side.
Tyson, who was dropped after the round eight win over Gold Coast, and Garlett, who hasn't been seen at AFL level since round five, are among the four emergencies.

Star midfielder Matt Crouch returns for the Crows after missing last week with a hamstring niggle, while Luke Brown and Wayne Milera are also in.
Youngsters Myles Poholke and Lachlan Murphy have been dropped, along with Andy Otten.
Backman Ryan Nyhuis and tagger Mitch Crowden have been dumped by Fremantle with veteran Danyle Pearce and classy left-footer Stephen Hill back in to face North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.
Nyhuis made his debut against the Roos in round 16 last year and booted four goals in a stunning display, including two in the final five minutes, to help clinch a four-point win.
He had never played in attack before.
For the Kangaroos, Sam Durdin will replace Majak Daw in defence, with the latter rested for the clash.

Hawthorn will have onballer Jaeger O'Meara and defender James Frawley at its disposal against West Coast at Etihad Stadium, while Kaiden Brand and James Worpel were dropped.
Star Eagle Elliot Yeo was under a cloud with a right knee injury but he was named in an unchanged side.
West Coast coach Adam Simpson declared on Friday Yeo would definitely play.
