The AFL advises it has completed the Match Review of the remaining matches in round 10 from Saturday / Sunday. Please find below the charges laid and also those matters that were explained in detail.  

Charges Laid:
Jake Carlisle, St Kilda, has been charged with striking Jack Riewoldt, Richmond, during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between St Kilda and Richmond, played at the MCG on Saturday May 26, 2018.  

In summary, he can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.  

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Richmond Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with high impact to the head. The incident was assessed as a two-match sanction. The player can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.  

Dustin Martin, Richmond, has been charged with misconduct against Jimmy Webster, St Kilda, during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between Richmond and St Kilda, played at the MCG on Saturday May 26, 2018.  

In summary, he can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.  

Misconduct is fixed financial sanction of $2500. The player can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.  

Jack Steven, St Kilda, has been charged with making careless contact with umpire Dean Margetts during the second quarter of the Round 10 match between St Kilda and Richmond, played at the MCG on Saturday May 26, 2018.  

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.  

Making careless contact with an umpire is a fixed financial sanction of $1500.

The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.  

Shane Edwards, Richmond, has been charged with striking Hunter Clark, St Kilda, during the fourth quarter of the Round 10 match between Richmond and St Kilda, played at the MCG on Saturday May 26, 2018.  

In summary, for a second classified offence, he can accept a $3000 sanction with an early plea.  

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the St Kilda Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head. As a second classified offence, this season, the incident was assessed as a $5000 sanction. The player can accept a $3000 sanction with an early plea.  

Darcy Gardiner, Brisbane Lions, has been charged with misconduct against Will Hayward, Sydney Swans, during the fourth quarter of the Round 10 match between the Brisbane Lions and the Sydney Swans, played at the Gabba on Saturday May 26, 2018.   In summary, he can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.

Devon Smith, Essendon, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Zac Langdon, GWS Giants, during the second quarter of the Round 10 match between Essendon and the GWS Giants, played at Spotless Stadium on Saturday May 26, 2018.

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the GWS Giants Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head. The incident was assessed as a $3000 sanction. The player can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.  

Dylan Buckley, GWS Giants, has been charged with misconduct against Matt Guelfi, Essendon, during the fourth quarter of the Round 10 match between the GWS Giants and Essendon, played at Spotless Stadium on Saturday May 26, 2018.

Willie Rioli, West Coast, has been charged with misconduct against Blake Hardwick, Hawthorn, during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between West Coast and Hawthorn, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday May 27, 2018.

Willie Rioli, West Coast, has been charged with making careless contact with umpire Ray Chamberlain during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between West Coast and Hawthorn, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday May 27, 2018.  

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.  

Making careless contact with an umpire is a fixed financial sanction of $1500.

The player can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.  

Brennan Cox, Fremantle, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Shaun Higgins, North Melbourne, during the first quarter of the Round 10 match between Fremantle and North Melbourne, played at Optus Stadium on Sunday May 27, 2018.  

In summary, he can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.  

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the North Melbourne Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the body.

The incident was assessed as a $3000 sanction.

The player can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.  

Bailey Banfield, Fremantle, has been charged with misconduct against Shaun Higgins, North Melbourne, during the third quarter of the Round 10 match between Fremantle and North Melbourne, played at Optus Stadium on Sunday May 27, 2018.  

In summary, he can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.  

Misconduct is fixed financial sanction of $2500.

The player can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.    

Other Incidents Assessed:
Contact between the Brisbane Lions' Mitch Robinson and the Sydney Swans' Dan Hannebery from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Hannebery receives the ball from a teammate and immediately seeks to handball the ball on to teammate Josh Kennedy. As Hannebery releases the ball, Robinson meets him with a bump to the chest area. There was no high contact made and it was the view of the Match Review Officer that Robinson's actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken.  

Contact between the Geelong Cats' Sam Menegola and Carlton's Sam Rowe from the second quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. Menegola takes Rowe to ground in a tackle. Rowe has hold of Menegola's arm as the Geelong player tries to get up, to return to play. Menegola seeks to free himself and in getting to his feet, contact is primarily made between the Geelong player's shin and Rowe's back. It was the view of the Match Review Officer the action did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken. 

Contact between Fremantle's Aaron Sandilands and North Melbourne's Sam Durdin from the fourth quarter of Sunday's match was assessed. Fremantle's Stephen Hill has the ball and is moving down ground, with Durdin coming towards him to pressure him. Sandilands comes towards Durdin to shepherd for his teammate. Contact is made between Sandilands' shoulder and Durdin's upper chest area, with an accidental head clash then occurring between the pair. It was the view of the Match Review Officer the Fremantle player executed the bump with contact to the body and could not have reasonably foreseen a clash of heads between the players. Sandilands' conduct was not unreasonable in the circumstances and no further action was taken.
