The AFL advises the Tribunal will sit at 5pm tonight, Tuesday August 14, to hear the charge laid against St Kilda’s Nathan Brown from the weekend’s Round 21 match. Please also find below the details of those sanctions accepted.

AFL Tribunal, 5pm, Tuesday August 14:
Nathan Brown, St Kilda, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Adam Saad, Essendon, during the first quarter of the Round 21 match between St Kilda and Essendon, played at Etihad Stadium on Friday August 10, 2018.

The incident was referred directly to the Tribunal.

Based on the available evidence and a medical report from the Essendon Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with high impact to the head.

Sanctions Accepted:
Aidyn Johnson, Port Adelaide, has accepted a $2,000 sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Thomas Cole, West Coast Eagles, during the third quarter of the Round 21 match between Port Adelaide and the West Coast Eagles, played at Adelaide Oval on Saturday August 11, 2018.

Taylor Walker, Adelaide Crows, has accepted a two-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Josh Kelly, GWS Giants, during the third quarter of the Round 21 match between the GWS Giants and the Adelaide Crows, played at UNSW Canberra Oval on Saturday August 11, 2018.

Jarrad Waite, North Melbourne, has accepted a $3,000 sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Jackson Trengove, Western Bulldogs, during the first quarter of the Round 21 match between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday August 12, 2018.

Trent Dumont, North Melbourne, has accepted a $2,000 sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Ed Richards, Western Bulldogs, during the third quarter of the Round 21 match between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday August 12, 2018.

Dale Morris, Western Bulldogs, has accepted a $2,000 sanction for tripping Jy Simpkin, North Melbourne, during the third quarter of the Round 21 match between North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday August 12, 2018.

Clayton Oliver, Melbourne, has accepted a $1,000 sanction for making careless contact to umpire Craig Fleer during the first quarter of the Round 21 match between Melbourne and the Sydney Swans, played at the MCG on Sunday August 12, 2018

Dan Hannebery, Sydney Swans, has accepted $1,500 for engaging in misconduct against James Harmes, Melbourne, during the fourth quarter of the Round 21 match between Melbourne and the Sydney Swans, played at the MCG on Sunday August 12, 2018
