WEST Coast will load up for its qualifying final against Collingwood, with Eagles coach Adam Simpson declaring Josh Kennedy and Lewis Jetta both certain starters.

Kennedy has missed the past five matches with a leg injury, while Jetta missed Sunday's 26-point win over Brisbane with a calf niggle.

Kennedy trained on Friday and with next weekend's bye to come, will line up against the Magpies.

"I'd say 100 per cent," Simpson said.

"See how we go and work back from there."

Kennedy has played just 11 games this season, kicking 34 goals, and is clearly a finals ace for the Eagles.

Simpson said Jetta would have played if West Coast was at home in the final round, but took the conservative approach with the long return travel to Brisbane.

The two stars will walk back into an Eagles team that waltzed into second place with a comfortable victory over the improved Lions.

Although Simpson dismissed the importance of playing at home against Collingwood, the victory gives the Eagles the chance of staying in Perth until the Grand Final if they're good enough.

"You've only got to win one game to make a prelim if you finish top four," Simpson said.

"I don't think the pressure was on our players and us as much as the outside (thought).

"Of course, we wanted to win and did.

"I don't think we played beautiful football, finals-type football today, but we did enough."

It was West Coast's seventh interstate win of the season.

Jack Darling was strong as the primary key forward in kicking four goals, while Liam Ryan and Jamie Cripps (three each) and Daniel Venables (two) also offered good avenues.

Simpson said he was pumped to finish second after a rollercoaster year.

"I'm really, really proud of our players," he said.

"They've been fronting up all year.

"We started the year pretty well, went through some adversity in the back half, losing some games, losing Nic (Naitanui), the whole (Andrew) Gaff incident was difficult.

"To lock away top two … we're ecstatic, really proud of our players."
