ADELAIDE has confirmed Ryan O'Keefe's departure with the SANFL and forwards development coach heading to Victoria.

As reported by AFL.com.au earlier this month, O'Keefe already has a number of Victorian clubs enquiring about his services.

O'Keefe is one of three members of the Crows' coaching panel to exit the club since the end of the season.

Forwards coach Josh Francou has left one year into a three-year contract, while development coach Tate Kaesler has taken up a role with Gold Coast.

O'Keefe joined the Crows in October, 2014 to take on his first coaching role since finishing his decorated playing career with Sydney that spanned 286 games and two premierships (2005 and 2012).

In a statement on the club's website on Friday night, the Crows said O'Keefe was moving to Melbourne to be closer to family and pursue other opportunities.

"Ryan has been a valued member of our coaching group and his knowledge and dedication are first class," Adelaide head of football Brett Burton told afc.com.au.

"He will always be part of the Crows' family and we wish him, his wife Tara and their children the best for the future."
