Adelaide Crows

Trade and free agency ins: Shane McAdam, pick 13, future fifth-round selection (Carlton)

Trade and free agency outs: Mitch McGovern, future third-round selection

Still in play: The Crows are expected to get a deal done for Richmond small forward Tyson Stengle. They could also make a move up the draft board to put themselves in a position to snare some quality South Australian talent, such as Jack Lukosius, Izak Rankine and Connor Rozee. The Crows could have another father/son prospect next year when Luke Edwards – son of club great Tyson – becomes eligible for the draft. The Crows will likely need to match a bid on Luke and more future draft picks could be useful. - Lee Gaskin

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 8, 13, 16, 21, 73, 83

Delisted/retired: Harry Dear, Jackson Edwards (rookie), Sam Gibson, Curtly Hampton, Ben Jarman (rookie)

Brisbane Lions

Trade and free agency ins: Lincoln McCarthy, picks No.32, 41, 44, 54, 57, 77

Trade and free agency outs: Picks No.24, 42, 58, 60, 79

Still in play: Lachie Neale is the big fish Brisbane wants and with Dayne Beams hoping for a return to Collingwood, there's plenty on the Lions' plate. Both are contracted (Neale for next year while Beams has another two seasons) so there's no certainty for either player, although Brisbane is very confident it will land Neale. It's looking likely the Lions' early first-round selection will be offered but more will likely be required. Regarding Beams, coming to an agreement would be especially tough considering the Pies' first selection lands at No.18, and that's only if the Lions agree to let him go. - Dinny Navaratnam

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 5, 32, 41, 44, 55, 78

Delisted/retired: Jake Barrett, Claye Beams, Tom Bell, Rohan Bewick, Liam Dawson, Cian Hanley, Marco Paparone

Carlton

Trade and free agency ins: Alex Fasolo, Mitch McGovern, Will Setterfield, pick 42, pick 71, future third-round selection (Adelaide)

Trade and free agency outs: Pick 26, pick 28, pre-listed state league player selections (Shane McAdam to Adelaide and Nathan Kreuger to Geelong), future second-round selection (Greater Western Sydney), future fifth-round selection (Adelaide)

Still in play: The Blues will be extremely pleased with their Trade Period to this point after ticking off their main target Mitch McGovern and snaring former No.5 draft pick Will Setterfield. With the main objectives completed, the Blues may look to strengthen their draft position with a big gap after their prized No.1 selection. The Blues also need to decide what to do with the out-of-contract Nick Graham, Sam Kerridge, Jed Lamb and Sam Rowe. - Josh Schonafinger

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 1, 69, 71, 77

Delisted/retired: Jesse Glass-McCasker, Aaron Mullett, Cameron O'Shea, Matthew Shaw, Alex Silvagni, Matthew Wright

Will Setterfield will give another boost to the Blues' midfield. Picture: AFL Photos

Collingwood

Trade and free agency ins: Third-round free agency compensation pick (currently No.57)

Trade and free agency outs: Alex Fasolo (Carlton)

Still in play: Brisbane champion Dayne Beams reportedly wants to break his contract to return to Collingwood, but it would take a compelling package to convince the Lions. Perhaps more critical is the task of re-signing defender Tom Langdon, who is weighing up interest from Sydney and Fremantle. In any case, Gold Coast key backman Steven May remains a target. The Woods are also expected to accumulate enough draft points to secure Next Generation Academy player Isaac Quaynor and father-son prospect Will Kelly. - Ben Collins

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 18, 51, 56, 57, 75, 93

Delisted/retired: Nil to date

Essendon

Trade and free agency ins: Nil to date

Trade and free agency outs: Nil to date

Still in play: Dylan Shiel has nominated the Bombers as his club of choice, but it seems pick No.9 won't be enough to satisfy the Giants. List manager Adrian Dodoro's attempt to lure Gold Coast midfielder Jack Martin has waned, with his attention now lingering on contracted Saint Ben Long. - Adrian Johnson

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 9, 34, 66, 84

Delisted/retired: Brendon Goddard, Josh Green, Jackson Merrett

Fremantle

Trade and free agency ins: Reece Conca, picks 11, 23, 30 and 49

Trade and free agency outs: Pick 6 and a future third-round selection

Still in play: The Dockers have pulled out of a deal for Melbourne star forward Jesse Hogan after the Dees rejected their offer of pick 11 and a future second-round selection. The Dees were eyeing the Lions' pick 5, which Freo has been expected to receive in a swap for Doig medallist Lachie Neale, who wants out of the club but the Dockers have been fighting to retain. They will land Giants big man Rory Lobb, most likely for a second-round selection. - Travis King

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 11, 23, 30, 49, 81

Delisted/retired: Michael Johnson, Danyle Pearce, Lee Spurr

Geelong Cats

Trade and free agency ins: Gary Rohan, Luke Dahlhaus, Nathan Kreuger (pre-listed state-league player), pick 60

Trade and free agency outs: Lincoln McCarthy, pick 54, pick 57, pick 61

Still in play: The biggest move to complete for the Cats is that of star midfielder Tim Kelly. Kelly has requested a trade to West Coast but the Eagles aren't satisfying the Cats' requests to this point. Unrestricted free agents Daniel Menzel and George Horlin-Smith remain unsigned, and although Horlin-Smith has been linked with Gold Coast, Menzel's immediate playing future looks unclear after interest from St Kilda cooled off. - Josh Schonafinger

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 12, 50, 60, 87

Delisted/retired: Aaron Black, Stewart Crameri, Ryan Gardner, Cory Gregson, Matthew Hayball, Timm House

Gold Coast Suns

Trade and free agency ins: Corey Ellis, Anthony Miles, pick 3, pick 24, pick 59, pick 80, future third-round draft selection (Richmond)

Trade and free agency outs: Tom Lynch, pick 32, pick 41, pick 44, pick 78

Still in play: Aaron Hall should get to North Melbourne and Kade Kolodjashnij has been linked to Melbourne. But the remaining big fish at the Suns is Steven May, who is yet to declare whether he wants out a year before his contract expires. The Demons are in the box seat if he declares he wants a trade. - Jennifer Phelan

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 2, 3, 19, 24, 29, 59, 80,

Delisted/retired: Michael Barlow, Josh Jaska, Michael Rischitelli (to be redrafted as rookie), Matt Rosa, Max Spencer, Mackenzie Willis

GWS Giants

Trade and free agency ins: Pick 43, future second-round pick (Carlton)

Trade and free agency outs: Will Setterfield, pick 71

Still in play: The Giants' salary cap constraints have led to several key players being put on the trade table. Shiel has nominated the Bombers, former No.5 pick Will Setterfield wants to join the Blues, while running machine Tom Scully has expressed interest in returning to Victoria and underwent a medical at Hawthorn on Thursday. - Adrian Johnson

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 14, 25, 43, 47, 52, 89

Delisted/retired: Ryan Griffen

Hawthorn

Trade and free agency ins: Nil to date

Trade and free agency outs: Nil to date. Free agents Brendan Whitecross, Taylor Duryea and Ryan Schoenmakers remain unsigned.

Still in play: The Hawks are trying to swing a deal for Port Adelaide star Chad Wingard who wants to come to the club and have been linked to GWS runner Tom Scully and young Gold Coast defender Jack Scrimshaw. The Wingard pursuit might cost them Ryan Burton. List manager Graham Wright has work to do, but he is the master at this time of the year. Watch this space. - Ashley Browne

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 15, 35, 53, 90

Delisted/retired: Kurt Heatherley, Jonathan O'Rourke, Cyril Rioli, Ty Vickery, Dallas Willsmore

Melbourne

Trade and free agency ins: Braydon Preuss (North Melbourne), fourth-round draft selection (No.62 at time of trade) and fourth-round draft selection (No.65 at time of trade)

Trade and free agency outs: Dom Tyson (North Melbourne) and Dean Kent (St Kilda)

Still in play: The will-he-or-won't-he-go Jesse Hogan saga is off for the moment with Fremantle football boss Peter Bell withdrawing the Dockers from negotiations. The Demons' demand for a pair of first-round picks isn't a price Freo is willing to pay despite its need for a spearhead of Hogan's quality. That means Melbourne is unlikely to be able to have the assets to satisfy Gold Coast if Steven May, as expected, requests a trade. But Simon Goodwin's side is expected to complete a deal for another Sun, Kade Kolodjashnij, for a lower draft pick. - Marc McGowan

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 36, 46, 54, 62, 65, 91

Delisted/retired: Harley Balic, Tom Bugg, Lochie Filipovic, Dion Johnstone, Mitch King, Pat McKenna, Cameron Pedersen, Bernie Vince

North Melbourne

Trade and free agency ins: Jared Polec and Jasper Pittard (Port Adelaide), Dom Tyson (Melbourne), third-round selection (No.48 at time of trade) and fourth-round selection (No.61 at time of trade)

Trade and free agency outs: Ryan Clarke (Sydney), Braydon Preuss (Melbourne), first-round draft selection (No.11 at time of trade), fourth-round draft selection (No.62 at time of trade) and future fourth-round draft selection

Still in play: Gold Coast midfielder Aaron Hall will land at Arden St at some stage before Wednesday night's NAB AFL Trade Period deadline, having already been paraded on the club's website. The Roos are no longer pursuing potential deals for out-of-contract Swan Nic Newman or Giant Jeremy Finlayson after nabbing Jasper Pittard as part of the Jared Polec trade. They did their best work early in the week after missing out on free agency target Andrew Gaff. - Marc McGowan

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 31, 42, 48, 58, 68, 86

Delisted/retired: Billy Hartung, Tom Jeffries, Mitch Hibberd, Oscar Junker, Declan Mountford, Gordon Narrier, Daniel Nielson, Josh Williams, Jarrad Waite

Gold Coast's Aaron Hall will give North some more zip through the middle. Picture: AFL Photos

Port Adelaide

Trade and free agency ins: Scott Lycett, pick 6, future third-round selection (Fremantle), future fourth-round selection (North Melbourne)

Trade and free agency outs: Jasper Pittard, Jared Polec, pick 11, 23, 30, 48, 49.

Still in play: Dual All-Australian Chad Wingard has requested a trade to Hawthorn. The Hawks have reportedly put pick 15 and young defender Ryan Burton up to get a deal done. Wingard is contracted for next year so could remain at the Power if they're not satisfied with what they get in return. Defender Jack Hombsch and winger Karl Amon could also be on the move. Acquiring a future third-round and fourth-round pick is important for the Power with father-son prospects Jackson Mead and Trent Burgoyne on their radar next year. - Lee Gaskin

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 6, 10, 85

Delisted/retired: Emmanuel Irra (rookie), Lindsay Thomas, Jimmy Toumpas

Richmond

Trade and free agency ins: Tom Lynch, future third-round selection (Gold Coast)

Trade and free agency outs: Reece Conca, Corey Ellis, Anthony Miles, future third-round selection

Still in play: After months of speculation, Richmond landed former Gold Coast key forward Tom Lynch, its main target during the trade period. Out-of-contract Sam Lloyd has yet to officially cross to the Western Bulldogs, despite manager Robbie D'Orazio telling NAB AFL Trade Radio last Tuesday the talented forward will be at the Kennel next year. Premiership forward Jacob Townsend is still out of contract but Neil Balme told SEN the Tigers "wouldn’t be unhappy to keep him". Rookie small forward Tyson Stengle has continued to be linked to a move back home to Adelaide. - Sarah Black

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 17, 37, 74, 92

Delisted/retired: Ben Griffiths, Shaun Hampson (both retired)

St Kilda

Trade and free agency ins: Dan Hannebery, Dean Kent, picks No. 28, future fourth-round pick (West Coast)

Trade and free agency outs: Tom Hickey, pick No.60 and 65, future second-round pick, future fourth-round pick

Still in play: The Saints will keep looking at players who can improve their list but their priorities were Dan Hannebery, Dean Kent, and Dylan Shiel, who chose Essendon as his preferred destination. Star Greater Western Sydney wingman Tom Scully is available and he would be perfect for the Saints, but Hawthorn is in the lead there. Melbourne and Essendon have inquired about Ben Long but he’s contracted for 2019 and the Saints won't let him go.

- Dinny Navaratnam

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 4, 28, 67, 79

Delisted/retired: Ray Connellan, Nathan Freeman, Sam Gilbert, Hugh Goddard, Tom Hickey, Darren Minchington, Koby Stevens, Nathan Wright

Dan Hannebery's experience and talent should hold the Saints in good stead. Picture: AFL Photos

Sydney Swans

Trade and free agency ins: Ryan Clarke, pick 26, pick 39, pick 40, future second-round draft selection (St Kilda)

Trade and free agency outs: Dan Hannebery, Gary Rohan, pick 13, pick 28, pick 61

Still in play: Tom Langdon remains in limbo with the Swans circling the out of contract Magpie, who is weighing up his options while overseas. Nic Newman remains up in the air after North Melbourne traded for Jasper Pittard instead, while the Swans have been jostling for draft picks to ensure they have enough points to recruit academy prospect Nick Blakey- Jennifer Phelan

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 26, 33, 38, 39, 40, 70, 88

Delisted/retired: Jake Brown, Jordan Foote, Alex Johnson, Angus Styles, Kurt Tippett, Dean Towers

West Coast Eagles

Trade and free agency ins: Tom Hickey, pick 20 compensation selection for Scott Lycett, pick 60 from St Kilda and the Saints' future fourth-round selection

Trade and free agency outs: Scott Lycett, pick 39 and a future fourth-round selection

Still in play: Securing mature-age revelation Tim Kelly from Geelong is keeping the Eagles occupied, with the Cats knocking back the first offer and demanding at least a top-10 pick. West Coast could have to get creative packaging up picks 20 and 22 in a deal to move up the draft board, but will ideally want to retain some presence in the first two rounds. The Eagles might also need points late in the draft in case a bid comes for Next Generation Academy product Jarrod Cameron. - Travis King

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 20, 22, 61, 72, 76, 94

Delisted/retired: Eric Mackenzie

Western Bulldogs

Trade and free agency ins: Pick 27 compensation selection for Luke Dahlhaus

Trade and free agency outs: Luke Dahlhaus

Still in play: The Bulldogs are front-runners to sign Tiger Sam Lloyd as a free agent and have also inquired about the services of unrestricted Hawk Taylor Duryea. Rhylee West - son of seven-time club champion Scott West - is destined to be drafted to Whitten Oval, with the Dogs expected to use a late first-round or early second-round bid to prize the father-son prospect. The chances of acquiring Chad Wingard have diminished after the Power livewire nominated Hawthorn as his preferred destination. Tom Liberatore is recovering from a second knee reconstruction and is yet to re-sign, while restricted free agent Jordan Roughead has met with West Coast about a move west.

Picks (as at Friday, October 12): 7, 27, 45, 63, 64, 82

Delisted/retired: Shane Biggs, Kieran Collins, Nathan Mullenger-McHugh, Jack Redpath, Clay Smith
