A PAIR of VFL players will train with St Kilda over the next few weeks as they push their case to be recruited by the Saints.

AFL.com.au has confirmed Collingwood's Tom Jok and Sandringham's Hayden McLean will join the first-to-fourth-year players who return to RSEA Park on Wednesday as the club begins its pre-season.

Jok, 21, is athletic and has impressive endurance, and standing 193cm with an elite leap, he can also help out in the ruck.

Jok lined up in Collingwood's final seven VFL games this year, having also spent time at his VAFA club, St Kevin's Old Boys, where he won the Premier Division premiership.

McLean played 13 matches for St Kilda's affiliate Sandringham and won the Zebras' award for best first-year player.

The 19-year-old can play up forward or in the ruck, standing at 197cm.

The NAB AFL Draft will take place across two days, starting on Thursday, November 22 and finishing the following day.

After the conclusion of the draft on the Friday, the NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft and the NAB AFL Rookie Draft will be held.
