GREATER Western Sydney has locked away emerging forward Harry Himmelberg on a new four-year contract, with the Giants' focus now on attaining the signatures of key midfield pair Josh Kelly and Stephen Coniglio.

The 22-year-old, who is into his fourth season at AFL level, was due to fall out of contract at the end of this year but has re-signed with the club until the end of 2023.

Himmelberg joined the club as a first-round pick at the 2015 NAB AFL Draft out of the Giants' Academy and started his career as a defender.  He has booted 39 goals from 42 AFL games.

"Harry is an outstanding young player and has quickly established himself as a popular and important member of our playing group," Giants list manager Jason McCartney said.

"He works hard to get the best out of himself and we’re really excited about where he can take his football over the coming years."

Kelly is set to return to the Giants' line-up this weekend for their clash with Richmond at Giants Stadium on Saturday, but like Coniglio, is yet to pen a new deal with the club beyond this season.

Coniglio is considered the most in-demand free agent this year, although he is a restricted free agent, which meansthe Giants would be able to match any rival deal for the West Australian.

Versatile Giant Adam Tomlinson is also among the club's out-of-contract players and qualifies as an unrestricted free agent.
