Reporting to the GM – Sponsorship this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands on sponsorship professional who is keen to take the next step in their career and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Delivering outstanding value and service to a number of the club’s major sponsors
- Ensuring all contractual benefits and obligations are delivered for each account
- Develop and maintain a range of customer service strategies to ensure expectations of our sponsors are met and exceeded
- Implementing and managing commercial events/functions including match-day activations
- Identifying and researching new sponsorship opportunities
- Develop a global view on sponsorship best practice and implement strategies across all elements of our sponsorship business
- Producing monthly, mid-year and end of year reports for all accounts
- Fostering strong long term relationships with sponsors
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills & attributes:
- a degree in Marketing, Business Management or Commerce
- 3 - 4 years experience in a sponsorship or account coordinator position
- strong attention to detail and initiative
- excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- team focused with an ability to work independently
- sound time management skills
The successful candidate needs to be capable of working a wide array of hours with a varying time schedule to suit the seasonal priorities of the football industry. This will include some weekend work and travel will be required.
